Rachel Kingston, Director, Quality Management Services and Consultant
I started my career in drug development in 1991, briefly as a behavioural pharmacologist before entering into clinical research. My career path has included the roles of CRA, Project Manager, Programme Manager and Clinical Research Manager, and more latterly in Quality Assurance and Clinical Compliance. My expertise is within Good Clinical Practice and clinical trial regulations, including the development of pragmatic and workable Standard Operating Procedures. I have worked in Contract Research Organisations (CRO) and pharmaceutical companies of all sizes within Europe and Australia.

Steve Smith, CEO
I have spent over 25 years in drug development and have worked in small and large companies and in CROs and pharmaceutical companies (both US and European). I have worked as a CRA, Project Manager and Head of Department. I have managed teams of people internationally to develop products from pre-clinical through to approval. Having set-up and run my own CRO I have had the privilege to work with and manage many well qualified staff from all around the world. I have been involved in a number of consultancy projects involving management change and drug development over the past 15 years. |

Julie Beal, Director, Client Services
After spending the initial first few years of my career in both customer services and then in a typical high street agency, I moved into the outsourcing division of a CRO. With over 10 years of recruitment experience within CROs, recruiting directly and globally for all positions within drug development, I understand how much extra pressure recruitment can put on hiring managers, and how important it is to find the right candidate for your team. Having many years' experience in recruiting at CROs I also understand how important timelines are and the knock-on effect that an open, unfilled position causes. |
